IS YOUR JSA, GAI, PSA/DNA ITEM REAL??




Again, JSA, PSA/DNA and GAI are only opinions at best. We have also seen fake autographs passed and real autographs marked as fakes.

What is a collector to do?

This industry is all about trusting someone that has access to the athletes or in person signings.

At Grace Sports Memorabilia, we have signing photos for 95% of our events and are also only affiliated with the largest names in the industry such as Steiner, Tristar, Mounted Memories, GTSM, NSD, Upper Deck and a few select others.

If a seller only has opinions from JSA, PSA/DNA, GAI or many of the other want to be's with no dates, locations, signing photos, etc... buy at your own risk.

Secondly, know what athletes have their own holograms such as Mays, Montana, Rice, Marino, Orr, Sayers and many others. Buying pieces without these players holograms is very risky and very possibly fakes. Since they are big names, they are also faked more often.

Lastly, check out signings on places such as
www.signingshotline.com and learn what players signing fees are and who the companies are that sign with those athletes.

Even though we sell on Ebay under ID gracesportsmem, Ebay is riddled with fakes and most come in the form of either no authentication or only third party authenticators and no other details. Some sellers will only say that the signatures were obtained at golf tournaments, celebrity appearances at other events, etc... If any of you have ever been to these, you know that if you get one autograph per star you are lucky let alone Ebay sellers who have sold dozens with the same story and same event. Doesn't happen. Most ebay sellers aren't even the people who supposedly obtained the autographs.

Bottom line, do your homework on the athlete and the seller before purchasing. Ask questions and if they can't answer them or become impatient, move on.
